This is how to change the name of a Business Name Registration in Kenya
- Search and reservation of the proposed name. – A new business name search is conducted. If approved, it is reserved for 30 days.
- Application for change of Particulars. – The Business name needs to be Linked to an eCitizen Account. On the name link, an application for change of particulars in done.
- Form BN4 is filled and the proposed reserved name attached thereto.
- The registrar shall Change the name of the Business and issue a Certificate of Change of Name.
A Change of Business Name takes take an average of 5 days to process.
