Few easy steps you must follow to create a backup in GB WhatsApp-
Step 1. First, launch GBWhatsApp on your device.
Step 2. Move on to the ‘Settings’ option.
Step 3. Click on the ‘Chats’ option.
Step 4. Press the ‘Chat Backup’ button.
From here, you can see a timer on your top bar, indicating the time it will take to backup all data. Once it’s done, You’ll see a group of folders in the GB WhatsApp folder in your internal storage. Now, what you’ve to do is, copy the folder to safe storage.
After getting back up, move the folder to a safe place. Go on ‘Internal Storage’ of the app to get access to the storage files.Note: You need to download higher file explorer like ES File Explorer, Amaze File Manager or Cx File Explorer, etc to step into your internal storage.
- Download the file explorer, open it and click on ‘Internal Storage’ on the top.
- Choose the ‘GBWhatsApp’ named folder.
- Long press on the folder. A ‘copy’ option will appear at the bottom.
Now you can copy the folder to the desired place in your phone storage. Or else, transfer the folder from phone to pc through means of a cable.
GB WhatsApp Backup Restore
To restore the backup in GB WhatsApp-
Step 1. Reinstall GB WhatsApp and don’t open it.
Step 2. Move the folder from the desktop or phone download folder and to your internal storage through File explorer.
Step 3. Click on the internal storage option and go in ‘Downloads’. You’ll be able to see a ‘GB WhatsApp’ folder.
Step 4. Long press the folder and click on the ‘copy’ option that appeared at the bottom.
Step 5. Now, paste the copied folder with other local storage in the file manager.
Step 6. Open the installed MOD app and verify your number.
Step 7. Click on the ‘Restore’ button at the bottom and wait for it.
Step 8. After it is restored, you’ll get backup chats, media, and data.
Step 9. Click on ‘Next’ and your app is ready with your data restored.
