As the country heads to the General elections, politicians are leaving nothing to chance, trying to cover as much ground as possible.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has also not been left behind, with just five days left to the D-day.

The electoral body has been put in place measures to ensure Kenyans get to vote in a timely and seamless manner.

One of the measures put is printing of voters names in various polling stations so that they can know in advance where to cast their vote.

However, not all voters will get the chance to go physically to these locations to confirm their polling stations.

The IEBC has also set up an SMS service that will enable voters know their polling stations at their comfort and convenience.

All you have to do is send your Identity card number followed by (#) and your date of birth (12345678#1924) to the SMS code 70000 and details of your polling station will come in the form of a text message.

One can only vote at the polling station where their registration details are captured.
